Curriculum Vitae - Myc Riggulsford

Managing Director of The Walnut Bureau Myc Riggulsford has over 25 years experience in journalism, public relations and issue management. Myc presented the monthly radio programme 'A Question for Science' on BBC Wiltshire Sound for three years, and co-founded the internet newsletter SIGWatch Pharm. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations from Stirling University.

As well as active involvement in front line issue management, Myc Riggulsford lectures to postgraduates and undergraduates on ethics, pressure groups, media, communications, issue management and the public understanding of science and the environment.

In a career that started in independent local radio broadcasting of traffic and tourism management information on Plymouth Sound, followed by regular programmes on Radio West in Bristol and cable channel Swindon Viewpoint, he worked as a freelance journalist for regional newspapers and magazines, on trade titles, and edited national in-house and customer newsletters. He currently writes for Country Smallholding and Devon Association of Small Holders magazine Update.
